## Touch dry does not release the next coat

Both data sheets list touch-dry time separately from the interval between coats. Whether the paint is touch dry in 30 minutes or in 2 hours, both documents ask for 4 hours before the next coat. The touch-dry figure tells when the surface can be touched, and the recoat interval tells when painting can continue.

## What changes the times on site

The Decora Matte sheet says drying time can change with the weather on the day of application, with the season and with the region, and advises against painting on rainy days or below 10 °C. The Toque Fosco Completo sheet tells the user to leave painting for another day when it rains or when the temperature is below 10 °C, and states that in non-ideal weather drying and curing can take a little longer.
