# Coral Super Lavável Ice White: Washable Paint for Bathrooms

> Ice White reinforces a clean look in bathrooms with Coral's Ultra Resist Technology washable paint. See the full technical specification.
**Ice White**, with its cool undertone, reinforces the clean look often sought in bathrooms and powder rooms, environments where water splashes and personal care products make cleaning resistance a practical criterion, not just an aesthetic one. Coral Super Lavável's **Ultra Resist Technology** delivers that performance regardless of the color chosen, on a line classified under **item 4.5.12 of ABNT NBR 11702** (washable paint), eggshell finish.

## Characteristics

- **Twice as cleaning-resistant**, compared to item 4.5.1 of the ABNT NBR 11702 standard (premium matte finish)
- Repels liquids (effect is lower on intense colors, not the case with this light tone, and needs more cure time)
- Easy to clean
- Low odor within **3 hours** after application, in a ventilated room

Classified under item 4.5.12 of ABNT NBR 11702 (washable paint). Eggshell finish, the same intermediate sheen used across the whole Super Lavável line regardless of tone.

## Technical data

Composition: modified acrylic resin, active and inert pigments, surfactants, coalescents, thickeners, microbicides, other additives and water. Solids by volume **43% to 51%**; **VOC 3.0 to 6.5 g/L**.

A **Perception Institute study** (report #16-058835-03/04-08-16) found that **85.5%** of consumers rated odor intensity as weak or absent within 3 hours of application, in a ventilated room, a line-wide result, not one measured specifically for this tone.

## Application

Coverage up to **110 m² per 18 L container**. Dilution up to **20%**. **2 to 3 coats**, touch-dry in **30 minutes**, full cure in **4 hours**. These figures are the same reference used across every color in the Super Lavável line, including light, cool tones like Ice White.

## FAQ

### Is Ice White specifically recommended for bathrooms?
There is no documented restriction of the color to a specific room; the choice for bathrooms usually comes from combining a light tone with the line's cleaning resistance.

### Does this paint remove cleaning-product residue from the bathroom?
The formula was tested for chocolate, ketchup, coffee, soda, juice, pencil, marker, colored pencil and lipstick stains; there is no specific mention of cleaning products.

### Does the liquid-repellent effect work well on this light color?
Yes, the effect is lower on intense colors; on a light tone like Ice White, repellency tends to be more noticeable.

### What is the coverage of an 18 L container in this color?
Up to 110 m², the same reference across the Super Lavável line.

### Does Ice White need more coats in a humid room like a bathroom?
The reference is 2 to 3 coats, without distinction by room type.

### Can I apply this paint directly over tile?
There is no documented guidance on application over tile; the indicated surface is masonry, plaster, concrete or cement block with proper preparation.

### Does Super Lavável have a strong smell in a small room like a powder room?
According to the Perception Institute study, 85.5% of consumers rated the odor as weak or absent within 3 hours of application, in a ventilated room.

### How long should I wait before using the bathroom after painting?
Full cure in 4 hours, but keeping the room ventilated during that period helps dissipate odor faster.
