Coral Proteção Sol & Chuva Silver Collar: Contemporary Gray Facade Tone

Silver Collar is a cool gray for contemporary facades in Coral's waterproof exterior line. See technical data and surface preparation.

Contemporary architecture paired with wood, glass and metal elements often calls for a cool-toned gray, and Silver Collar fills that role within the Coral Proteção Sol & Chuva line without giving up any of the waterproofing behind it, the same protection against infiltration, cracks, algae and mold found in every other color.

FAQ

Does Silver Collar pair well with glass and wood facades?

It is often associated with that contemporary style, but this is a design choice, not a technical recommendation from the manufacturer.

Does this color need more coats for being a cooler gray?

No. The 3-coat reference applies to the whole line, regardless of color.

What is the coverage per 18 L container in this color?

Up to 85 m², the same reference for the line.

Does Silver Collar protect against infiltration the same way as other colors?

Yes, the same film prevents and fights infiltration, cracks, algae and mold, regardless of color.

How do I treat a structural crack before applying this color?

A V-groove cut, a coat of wall primer, and a fill of sand and product (2-3 parts sand to 1 part product) over polyester mesh get the crack ready for at least 3 finish coats.

Is Silver Collar a ready-mixed color or does it need custom tinting?

The line is available in more than 2,000 shades in the Coral color range; confirm availability and acquisition method at the point of sale.

Does this color require special care in shaded facades?

There is no documented guidance on this; shaded, humid facades tend to see mold and algae recur more often, regardless of the color chosen.

What is the full cure time for this color?

24 hours, with touch-dry in 30 minutes and 4 hours between coats.
