Coral Decora Seda Egyptian Cotton: Neutral Tone in Satin Finish

Egyptian Cotton adds a neutral beige tone to Coral Decora Seda's satin finish. See how this shade fits interior decoration and its technical specs.

Egyptian Cotton is a light neutral beige within the Coral Decora Seda line, a shade built to sit behind wood, textile and metal accents without competing with them, unlike a pure white that can read colder. Combined with the line’s satin finish and CERAMIC Technology, the tone gets an intermediate sheen that lightly emphasizes wall depth.

FAQ

Does Egyptian Cotton read warm or cool?

It is a neutral beige, without a strong warm or cool bias, which is why it tends to pair well with both light and dark wood tones.

Is this color available ready-mixed?

The Decora Seda line offers ready-mix colors (3.6 L and 18 L) and the tintometric system (800 ml, 3.2 L, 16 L); confirm this specific shade’s availability at the point of sale.

Does Egyptian Cotton need more coats than White?

No. The reference is 2 to 3 coats for the whole Decora Seda line, regardless of color.

Can this tone yellow over time?

There is no color-shift data documented over time; prolonged direct sunlight exposure can affect any paint, but no specific data is available for this shade.

What is the coverage of a 3.6 L container?

Up to 21 m², following the same reference used across the Decora Seda line.

Does this color need a tinted primer first?

There is no requirement for a tinted primer for the Decora Seda line; standard surface preparation (sanding, primer or sealer depending on wall type) applies.

Is Egyptian Cotton good for a small room?

Light neutral tones are generally associated with a sense of spaciousness in small rooms, though this is a design consideration rather than a documented technical recommendation.

How does the odor of this color compare to White?

There is no separate study by color; the 86.2% weak-or-absent odor rating applies to the Decora Seda line as a whole.
