FAQ

Does flat paint really hide wall imperfections?

It reduces the visual evidence of small irregularities because it reflects less light, but it does not replace proper surface prep. Larger imperfections still need filler before painting.

Can Decora Matte be used outdoors?

The product is developed with a focus on interior decoration, but it can also be used outdoors.

How many coats does White need?

2 to 3 coats, which can vary depending on surface type.

What is the coverage of an 18 L container?

Up to 150 m², which can vary depending on surface type.

How do I dilute this paint before applying?

Dilution up to 20%: 5 parts paint to 1 part potable water, mixed with a plastic, metal or wood spatula.

How long between coats?

4 hours between coats, with full cure also at 4 hours.

Does Decora Matte have a strong smell?

According to the Perception Institute study, 81.1% of consumers rated the odor as weak or absent within 3 hours of application, in a ventilated room.

Can I apply Decora Matte over new render?

Wait at least 30 days of cure, sand, remove dust and apply an acrylic sealer; without that time, use a wall primer instead.
